Week 6 and the past

Its been a while since I last wrote here. Without realizing it, its already week 6 in my fourth semester in UniSA program. Moreover, its already half a year since I arrived here and it's just 3 more months till this semester ends. With 7 of us in this house, the electric bill for just one month reached an incredibly huge amount, AUD438.50!!! In addition, we exceeded the internet usage a few days before the due date and that's when the assignments were due. Speaking of assignments, I had an extremely hectic schedule last week. It began with ICBM assignment on Monday, BCB Test on Wednesday, FP presentation on Thursday, FP Test and Assignment on Friday. Overall, I knew I did badly in ICBM assignment and BCB Test and hopefully, the others were alright. That's the reason I never updated this blog for a while.

Anyway, attended Sara's party at Mile End. I finally learned how to bake cupcakes. They were easy as ABC as long we follow the instructions.

Artistic work

The tradition - hard liquor. Realize that cheese don't go well with hard liquor. Had a small tummy ache after just 3 cups.

Some new home cooked foods for the past weeks

Heart shaped Egg

French fries

Breakfast

Rice+Egg+Chicken+Lettuce+Wedges

You guys probably wonder what I've been doing for my past time here. I've been watching lots of drama lately. This worsen my eyesight. Definitely have to wear my specs whenever I'm in the lecture hall or tutorial classes or I might be seeing blur images from a far.

It's really rare to post a picture of myself so here goes
Without specs

With specs

That's all I could remember. Probably there are many small things happened for the past few weeks that I have forgotten.

Anyway, came across Dorothy's post and finds it interesting. Check it out.
Probably, I can just change my attitude but seriously, its really tough for me to change to be a vegetarian for someone I love.

Post 4: Dinner

The urge to blog came to me when I was cooking dinner, probably around 6.30p.m.

Wouldn't it be cool to tell your friends or anyone that you have 7 housemates staying in the same house and same floor? Back in my previous house located at Cypress Street, I used to live with 4 others where all of us have our dinner together on a small round table. The atmosphere was a little cramped where we have barely enough space for us to move around. Now, I realize that having 8 of us in this house, only 2 of us (including myself of course) have been having dinner on a much larger table for the past month.

The reason?
1 is having a girl friend where it is understandable not to be around.
1 is already calling this house his second home.
1 is a little busy spending most of his time in the city no matter day or night.
1 is always going out early in the morning and coming home around 9.00p.m.
1 is always hiding in her room eating after cooking.
1 is that his timing is a little late and he found a job recently so he is exempted.

With simple mathematics calculations, there's only 2 of us left.

Anyway, menu of the day is

Noodle = $0.20
Egg = $0.25
Fish Fingers = $0.75
Vegetable (Bok Choy) = $0.20
Others (Oil, sauce, etc) = $0.20
Total Cost = $1.60

Post 3 : Short One?

Cooked a simple family dish for yesterday dinner.
Menu; Marinated Chicken

Vegetable with tofu

White rice

Marinated Chicken = $0.80
Vegetable with Tofu = $0.50
White Rice = $0.50
Total Cost =$1.80

Finished Downloaded whole series of Love Shuffle yesterday night with insane speed

Believe it or not, this post takes me 2 hours with lots of typing and backspacing especially on this paragraph. Suddenly, I miss playing pool in Rack and Club 7 (now known as Club 9).

Signing out now as I have not even touch any tutorial homework for this week and have not complete Buyer Consumer Behavior assignment. But...I'm SOOOO LAAAAZY....

Coming to week 4 in 2 days time, I realize that there are many important dates awaiting me. Dates, which is the days in the calendar, not going out with any girl nor the fruit. The month of August starts off with;
: 21st - BCB Assignment Part A,
: 24th - ICBM Assignment 1
: 27th - FP Class Small Presentation
: 28th - FP Class Test

Then in September;
: 2nd - DSM Assignment
: 10th - FP Group Peer Review

Followed by October;
: 7th - DSM Test
: 14th - ICBM Presentation
: 22nd -FP Presentation
: 23rd - BCB Assignment Part B
: 26th - ICBM Assignment 2

Some of you might think that it's relaxing but for me, its really hectic. Its been a month since I last stretched my muscles or exercised. I've been sticking my butt on my chair and facing the laptop for the past month. Finally, the jog today tested my stamina; within 15 minutes, I was almost out of breathe. Shall stop now as I'm going to market, out of chicken for the past week and no vegetables left.

Third Week of tutorials

Attended all four tutorials this week and overall was a little better than the previous semester. Anyway, first assignment is due next week. Real soon right? Yet, I have not even started with it but just by looking at the questions, it does not prove much challenge as it consists only on calculations. I tell myself that I must complete it before next Monday.

I've been telling myself to work harder this semester for the past 2 years but I guess the spirit just died after few week whenever each semester commence. Laziness has taken over me.
Looking at my previous blog, it seems that my mood of blogging died at the month of June till now and hopefully, I can revive it with this new blog.

Guess what? I've been into a friend's 21st birthday party at my previous home. Feel a little nostalgic coming down from the tram and walk along Wakefield Street. The sound of siren usually can be heard from Cypress Street is now replaced by the sound of train here. Back to my friend's party, of course hard liquor became my buddy again. We had Absolut vodka - vanilla, Johnnie Walker black label and red label. Of course I prefer the black label as the vodka with vanilla does not suit my taste while the red label was tasted a little heavy.

Actually on the same day itself, few of my housemates and I went of the house around 10.30a.m. to the airport to collect our books from Malaysia and head to IKEA for lunch. Then later on I had a lecture at 3.00 to 5.00p.m. and later on stoned for almost 2 hours at a friend's of mine apartment before heading to Cypress Street. I've counted that I had 12 cups and I know I could not go any more. Reached home around 2.30a.m. and this shows that I'm away from home for about 16 hours. Woke up around 7.15a.m. with a little alcohol in my body. Took a hot shower, ate 4 slice of bread and head for the 9.00a.m class in the city. Is this insane?

Right now I need a new wallet, belt and two pair of socks
